Our Beliefs

As followers of Jesus Christ, our faith is important to us.

What do we believe? To sum it up, we believe:

1. Jesus is God. In John 10:30 Jesus says, “I and the Father are one.”

2. We are saved by God’s grace. (“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” – Ephesians 2:8-9)

3. Salvation comes through Jesus. (“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” – Acts 4:12)

4. Christ was resurrected. (“And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.” – 1 Corinthians 15:14)

5. The Gospel. (“For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…” – 1 Corinthians 15:3,4)

6. Monotheism. There is only one God. (“You shall have no other gods before me.” – Exodus 20:3)

7. The Holy Trinity. (Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…” – Matthew 28:19)
